Day 01 Khajuraho Arrival

After arriving in Khajuraho, meet our Representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel in Khajuraho. Upon arrival, check in hotel and relax. Later go for local sightseeing which covers a visit to Khajuraho’s famous temples, all of them are built with intricacy and is ancient. Originally 82 in number, these temples were built during the reign of Chandela Rulers. These temples include erotic human figures, images of musicians, warriors, gods and goddesses, and mythological animal figures in Kama Sutra positions. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 02 Khajuraho Local

Start the day with sightseeing at the Eastern Group which consists of seven temples out of which four are Jain temples and the other three are Hindu. The seven temples are the Parsvanath, Adinath, Shantinath Ghantai temple, the Vamana, Javari and Brahma. Later in the day pay a visit to the Archaeological Museum that exhibits a wide collection of stone sculptures that were built in the times of Chandela dynasty. You return back to the hotel and stay over the night.

Day 03 Khajuraho – Orchha (187 Kms / 04 Hrs)

In the morning, post breakfast, visit the temples located in the eastern region. Drive to Orchha in the afternoon. Orchha (literal meaning ‘hidden’) is a small town located on the banks of the Betwa River. The mesmerizing attractions and calmness make the town worth visiting. You can visit Chaturbhuj Temple, Chhatris (Cenotaphs), Jahangir Mahal, Laxminarayan temple, etc. The Mural Paintings on the walls of the temples are also one amidst the tourist attracting attributes of the town. Later, check-in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04 Orchha – Jhansi – Bhopal (334 Kms / 07 Hrs)

Post breakfast, drive to Jhansi railway station to board the train for Bhopal. On reaching Bhopal, check-in to your hotel, freshen up and take a little rest. After lunch, enjoy sightseeing tour of Bhopal city. Visit various lakes, also wander in the lanes of the city, enjoy the street food and communicate with the locals. Return to your hotel for a night-long stay.

Day 05 Bhopal Local

Next morning after breakfast, leave to visit other major tourist attraction of Bhopal city including places like Secretariat, Fatehgarh Fort, Taj-ul-Masjid, Sadar Manzil, Vidhan Sabha and Moti Masjid. Visit ancient temples of Lord Shiva, Bhojeshwar temple and an unfinished Jain temple. Later, proceed to Bhimbetka to visit the Bhimbetka caves. This World Heritage Site is more than 30,000 years old. These caves consist of rock art and paintings. In the evening back to Bhopal. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06 Bhopal – Ujjain (191 Kms / 03 Hrs)

Drive to Ujjain, post breakfast. Check-in to your hotel. Freshen-up and leave for city tour. Visit Bhartrihari Caves, Mahakaleshwar Temple, Navagraha Mandir (Triveni), and various other sacred places. In the evening you can enjoy the view of holy prayers and “Aarti” at the banks of the river Shipra. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 07 Ujjain – Mandu – Indore (54 Kms / 01 Hrs)

In the morning, post breakfast, drive to Mandu. This place is between the Vindhya ranges. Here, you may visit the exterior ramparts, Jami Masjid, Rani Roopmati Pavilion, Jahaz Mahal, Asharfi Mahal, Baz Bahadur’s Palace, and Tomb of Hoshang Shah. A temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva is also worth visiting. In the evening, drive back to Indore. Visit Sheesh Mahal (Jain temple). Return to your hotel for a nightlong stay.

Day 08 Indore – Omkareshwar – Indore

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and thereafter visit the Omkareshwar temples. Omkareshwar is a sacred island that has huge significance amongst the pilgrim centres as it is shaped like the holiest Hindu symbol, ‘Om’. At the meeting point of the rivers Narmada and Kaveri is the Shri Omkar Mandhata temple where devotees visit to see one of the twelve lingas throughout India, Jyotirlinga. In the evening, drive back to your hotel in Indore. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09 Indore Departure

In the morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and gear up to check-out. Then drive to Indore Railway Station/ Airport for your return journey back home with wonderful memories.
