Gangtok, Pelling, Kalimpong & Darjeeling Package 07 Nights / 08 Days

Day 01 NJP RLY STATION / IXB AIRPORT - GANGTOK

Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 02 EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR

After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

(In case of Land slide or any other reason, if Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.)

Day 03 GANGTOK - PELLING

After breakfast, Check-out from hotel and go for a Half Day Sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday), Flower Show. Afternoon transfer to Pelling (5500 Ft / 1675 Mts). Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 04 PELLING – YUKSOM EXCURSION

After breakfast we drive to Yuksom (5840 Ft / 1780 Mts, 35 Kms / 02 Hrs) on way panoramic sightseeing of Darap Village, Rimbi Water fall & Hydro Project, Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts), it is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird & Kanchanjunga Water fall. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) – the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening Back to Pelling. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 05 PELLING - KALIMPONG

After breakfast, Check-out from hotel and transfer to Kalimpong (4091 Ft / 1247 Mts.). On arrival, Check-in hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.

Day 06 KALIMPONG – DARJEELING

Today after Breakfast visit Dello hills, Dr.Graham’s Home, Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills. Later transfer to Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts). Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 07 DARJEELING - FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING WITH TIGER HILL

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 08 DARJEELING - NJP STATION / BAGDOGRA AIRPORT

After breakfast Checkout from hotel and take the departure transfers to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.
