For our Guests convenience and to experience a smooth and hassle free tour we have segregated the entire tour into the following parts: i.e. 03 Nights in Gangtok.
Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous in the Northern Indian State of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.
This Tour Package includes fooding, hotel stay, all Pick-up and drop transfers from Airport/Railway Station, all transfers from hotel to hotel and all Sightseeing tours as mentioned in the Itinerary.
After arriving, Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, go for a Full Day Sightseeing of Gangtok covering Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Water Fall, Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
(In case of Land slide or any other reason, if Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.)
After breakfast check-out from hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your return journey back home with wonderful memories.
